Hey y'all. Sorry for my c101 negligence, but c101 has rejoined the rat race which leaves little time for writing about the amusing foibles of this world.

That said, I wouldn't be me if I didn't get the writing juices flowing and put sumpin' down. So, being that we are a mere one week away from the Sopranos season and show (my Sunday's just won't be the same) I thought I would talk Tony. So, for those of you that religiously watch one of the (if not the best) greatest crafted shows in TV history you know that the isht hit the fan last week.

Per Phil's orders, the New York crew was gunning for the top three in New Jersey - which means Tony, Bobby and Silvio all must eat lead. Bobby was the first to go, taking about 20 in the choo-choo shop. They got Sil too, though he's not dead, just in a coma and prolly won't recover. That leaves the skipper, Tony, who made it out but has to hole himself up and try weather the storm.

The closing shot of him drifting off next to the machine gun that Bobby gave him reminded me of Scarface. Which is maybe where they are headed? The fact that Tony cut ties with Dr. Melfie, simply because she read a study that stated the psychopaths hone their craft by therapy. Funny that Tony leaves her behind after 7 years of therapy with a little juvenile replacing of the ripped magazine - an anticlimactic end to a very tumultuous relationship.

So, what is my theory? How can I show that mastered character development and portraying the duality of man end? Well, Tony could go down in a hail of bullets, but he has always been pretty lucky...except for getting shot by Uncle Junior. SO, maybe he waits it out and Phil's crew implodes. I don't know, I do know that I will be watching fo sho.
