My Pee-Pee...Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

mickey.jpgI am still feeling sexed up after watching Alekzyss break it down, aren't you? And now, Mr. red-hot penis has a theme of sorts.

It is with great pleasure that I bring you "My Dick" by Mickey Avalon. He is a funny little white rapper (uh-oh) that has thank-you tattooed above has junk. You see he created a wacky tune, about well, the power of his penis. So, here is my prediction (cue harps and a cloudy fade away)...Mr. Avalon will follow in the hairy, sexed up steps of Har Mar Superstar. He will begin as an obscure blip on the music scene for about three seconds (present) only to fall by the wayside a year from now because he can't get past the first act of rapping about his dick. But, that doesn't mean we can't laugh about it right now. Anybody that somehow completes a rhyming couplet about his penis with 'McCauly Caulkin', well, I am going to at least give it a listen.

So, here is "My Dick" and why don't we throw some old school in the mix as well? Here is the Gap Band with "You Dropped a Bomb on Me" - a song that has more longevity than Mickey will prolly ever enjoy and c'mon, "You turned me on, then you turned me out, you dropped a bomb on me." Those words will always apply.

Vagina Power vs. Penis Power

Time to switch gears. VD Steve sent me a video last week that serendipitously coincided with a topic that I've been meaning to discuss. A topic that is near and dear to yours truly and well, all of us, S-E-X. If we aren't having it, we are thinking about having it and if we are not getting it we are devising ways to get it. But like everything else, it isn't that easy. Because where there is sex, there is emotion and where there is emotion there is love. Problem is, where there is love there is complexity.

Of course, some would maintain that it's as simple as Vagina Power vs. Penis Power. At least so says our hostess with the mostess, Alexyss Tylor. While she may lack any sort of a professional degree, she more than makes it up in moxy. All I ask is that you watch the entire six minutes, if you aren't laughing your ass off, well, I can't save you. Please watch here. So, is it all about hitting the middle and making the woman have sperm on the brain? I like to think that we can find a happy medium and maybe it's about sex AND the ability to communicate openly with your partner.

UPDATE - She's piloting the pussy ...just watch here And please watch "Dick will Make You Slap Somebody" - just can't think of any words for Alexyss. Sheer genius comes to mind.

Here's Enon with "Shave" I saw 'em live and it wasn't good - doesn't mean they haven't created some gems in the studio. Also, here's the Dirtbombs with "Possession." Maybe that is what it is all about?

Weighing In

A very troubled Cho Seung-Hui decided to murder 30 people for no reason a couple days ago. This much we all know. But, just as any senseless act of violence, we are left wondering how and why. That is the problem, however. When dealing with someone as crazy as Cho, there is no why, which makes trying to understand why even more frustrating.

Is Cho's access to purchasing a Glock part of the problem, seeing that he had a history of mental health problems? You bet your ass. Can we at least do something about our gun control laws to make sure there are more thorough background checks in place? I should hope so. Will there be troubled people who fall through the cracks like out shooter, tragically yes.

Still, while people are looking for answers, sometimes they look in stupid places. The continual blame of a violent movie or explicit song comes up too often. Seems said troubled Cho identified with a movie previously reviewed here called "Oldboy" but I am hard pressed to blame a work of fiction for a deeply troubled person's act of violence. Here's the report. I would love to hear your opinions c101 readers. So, please weigh in...UPDATE, I love Slate for reason's like this.

As for music, I usually play something that relates to the post. But, no music I listen to relates to the post, so I will just post stuff I like. Here's Felix Da Housecat "Silver Screen" and LCD Soundsystem "Someone Great."

It's time to visit our friend George Noory. For those of you that don't know, Noory hosts a show on AM radio called Coast to Coast AM (Thanks for the correction, foul temptress) and he often speaks about aliens, shadow people, ghosts and all other things spooky.

Monday's show was with chiropractor and Naturopathic physician Dr. Richard Bartlett who spoke about his therapeutic technique, which combines subtle energy physics, consciousness and focused intent. It is possible for healing to take place at the quantum level, where the body is composed of a stream of photons. Right. He also discussed "morphic fields" - an underlying pattern or energy that is shared among a species or group.

So, apparently we can all heal ourselves of any sickness or time travel - all we have to do is zone out and BLAM we are there. I am all for the healing power of positive thinking, but I'm not sure about this one. Anyway, faithful readers, what do you think? Are we simply victims of our negativity? If we make up our minds to be happy, would we?

Let's go with Felix the Housecat, a DJ that is quickly becoming on of my favs with "Je T'aime M

My namesake roks. Anybody know there is a DJ Cam? I am quite jealous of his flows, but I should instead rejoice - check out "Gangsta Sh**." That's more than RFO can say...Randy R. Jones is pictured. Sweet Jesus.

Anyway, let's get to the meat and gravy of today's installment. I am currently reading, "On Writing Well" by William Zinsser and I recommend it to everyone. You don't have to be a word freak to understand the importance of using the correct words to convey exact meaning. We all want to be understood, don't we? With just a little bit of work on your part, you can.

Zinsser believes (as do I) that we clutter our writing and speech way too much and use many words that we don't need. If people truly understand the importance of words and the meaning behind, I think the world would be significantly easier to live in.

So with Zinsser in mind let's listen - with utter clarity - to Gameboy/Gamegirl "Sweaty Wet/Dirty Damp" and return to Spank Rock yet again with an excerpt from Fabriclive 33 "Let's Make Love and Listen To Death From Above (Spank Rock Remix)" - delicious.
