Boy oh boy, all apologies my loyal 7. I have been busy. But, too busy to post, C$? Surely you jest. Well, maybe I have been mesmerized by the Cruise's teeth?

Perhaps. But more probable it is because I have been stuck listening to a new goldmine of recordings on Morning Becomes Eclectic on KCRW, a radio station based in lovely Santa Monica, CA. The serendipity is thick, as I was just in SM and it was lovely. Anyway, every band you know and a ton other that you don't are on this bad boi. On demand radio rules. 'Course it has to feature worthwhile musicians, which it definitely does.

Nic Harcourt hosts and he has a similar gift as my main man Charlie Rose - he asks good questions, which allow the listener to learn about the musician in a very personal way. Harcourt likes to learn about the creation and process of music, something that fascinates yours truly as well. So, if you didn't visit before based on my KoC post, you should reconsider and go now.

I am also going to tip my hat to oft c101 contributor Durty Dale - he recently made two great musical suggestions - and y'all get the spoils. Here is Of Montreal with "Wraith Pinned to the Mist" and Ahmad with "Back in the Day."

OK Y'all, me don't have much time to compose - I know - an all too familiar statement. But for those of you that don't approve, hit the damn lottery already and then retire C$. That way I can go back to blogging full-time like.

Anyway, not only has it been a dry spell on the keys, it has also been a dry spell musically for yours truly. In other words, I am stuck in a rut. But it is a good, introspective one.

This might be because I can't stop listening to Kings of Convenience. I want to gobble up everything they compose and that means searching the Internets. Once again, the Internets delivered, this time courtesy of KCRW "Morning Becomes Eclectic" an absolutely fantastic radio show. This is from 2005 and it is positively wonderful if you like listening to introspective boys from Norway playing acoustic guitars. I know I do.

So, click here and enjoy...

P.S. - There is another concert to listen to if you go google Kings of Convenience and go to the Astralworks site. It's also damn good. Oh F it - here is the link. Who loves ya?
