OK Y'all, me don't have much time to compose - I know - an all too familiar statement. But for those of you that don't approve, hit the damn lottery already and then retire C$. That way I can go back to blogging full-time like.

Anyway, not only has it been a dry spell on the keys, it has also been a dry spell musically for yours truly. In other words, I am stuck in a rut. But it is a good, introspective one.

This might be because I can't stop listening to Kings of Convenience. I want to gobble up everything they compose and that means searching the Internets. Once again, the Internets delivered, this time courtesy of KCRW "Morning Becomes Eclectic" an absolutely fantastic radio show. This is from 2005 and it is positively wonderful if you like listening to introspective boys from Norway playing acoustic guitars. I know I do.

So, click here and enjoy...

P.S. - There is another concert to listen to if you go google Kings of Convenience and go to the Astralworks site. It's also damn good. Oh F it - here is the link. Who loves ya?

It is official, I have no readers. Or at least none of them actually deem my words worthy of comment. Sad days at c101, sad days indeed.

You are such a sensitive little butterfly. I will always love you, it's just that your current content is nothing that I can speak intelligently about.

Haha! Butterfly! He is such a sensitive little saly butterfly.

Anyways. It seems all of eLarceny has fallen on hard times. We

I vote for T&A.

And I still love you too C$, it's just that whenever KoC pop up on my iPod lately I turn them off. I like listening to them in the winter months, mid-Januaryish, when I'm feeling slightly suicidal and want something to calm me down.

KoC during June makes me realize what pussies they are. Pretty butterfly pussies.

Sensitive Sally? I will show you my sensitive side the next time we meet RFO. Prepare for pain. I say we kill of any writer that takes longer than 7 days on average to compose something. AND we need more T & A.

You are, unfortunately, correct KW. Still, I have felt oh so wistful lately so KoC and I have gone together like peas and carrots. I just want to suckle poor little Erlend.

Thunder, I promise to post some isht that you can comment upon, I will get crackin'. You have allowed me to emerge from my pupa and realize all the possiblities of life. You truly are the wind beneath my sizable dong.

Sorry, that was supposed to be 'Sensitive Little Salty Butterfly.' And boy, you are as salty as a bag of peanuts.
Ha!
Ok. Time to clean house. Seven more days. Seven more days.

I thought I'd represent some T&A up in this here sausage fest 'cause y'all are starting to sound like a bunch of fanooks.

sally or salty...whatever, no matter. just remember we love you, little butterfly.

I'm opening myself up for a lashing here, but C$, you have no excuse for musical dryspells in these technologic days. Do you ever check out myspace? I'm not saying you have to abort your blog or anything, but you can listen to free music at least.

I forsee a ray of sunshine in your otherwise dark rut in the coming week.

Jules, did you ever consider that C$ enjoys said musical rut? The smooth Norwegians with their thoughtful words of relationship woe calm an otherwise rocky sea that is C$. And for the record, don't be so afraid to voice your opinion - your yin is integral to all of our yangs, to be sure.

I will take note of your MySpace advice. Still, I have Randy Fresh and Dr. Bone who continually introduce me to new sounds as well. I suppose it is time to reach out - plus I see that there is new Zero 7 - I think I will begin there.

Yes, I, too, deeply depend on y'all for my musical inspiration. It's rough out there on your own.

Yes, love those KoC. Too bad we don't live in Lisbon, Riga, or Molde... we could see them live and be collectively, fully rutted in beautiful, tranquil woe. boo-hoo and waaah.

really, you have a great point, because woe sure has a way of inspiring the soul. when you are seeking and searching, your mind gets creative for solutions. In life you need either inspiration or desperation. The path to success is to take massive, determined action. It is in your moments of decision that your destiny is shaped. well, that's what Tony Robbins would tell you.

he'd also say that the secret of success is learning how to use pain and pleasure instead of having pain and pleasure use you. If you do that, you're in control of your life. If you don't, life controls you. deep thoughts, eh my friend?

I know you don't like direct links here, but I'm lazy. Check out what Erland says about our current events on myspace:

When your sick of the desperation and ready for some inspiration I've got just the book for you. In my humble opinion it is so earth shattering that it should be required reading in middle school, high school, and college. Here's a link. Check it out.

[10] Thunder! You're giving away the secret to my success!

Wow.

[9] I could tell you whatever I want & you would do it. My teeth have amazing, hypnotic powers. I am the devil.

[12] Ha! Too much ying for yer yang?

[14] oops..."yin", that is

That's for damn sure.

[13] you're scary, banana hands. you've changed.

[16] Fragile butterfly, sorry to have ruffled your wings with the gusty winds of psychobabble. However, the yin is strong, like Tina Yothers, and must be kept in balance. Let me make it up to you with some free OYE.

[17] Dammit my links never work the first time. Again:
OYE

get yo shit together woman. i'm far too busy for this lackluster half-ass non linking bullshit.
