Boy oh boy, all apologies my loyal 7. I have been busy. But, too busy to post, C$? Surely you jest. Well, maybe I have been mesmerized by the Cruise's teeth?
Perhaps. But more probable it is because I have been stuck listening to a new goldmine of recordings on Morning Becomes Eclectic on KCRW, a radio station based in lovely Santa Monica, CA. The serendipity is thick, as I was just in SM and it was lovely. Anyway, every band you know and a ton other that you don't are on this bad boi. On demand radio rules. 'Course it has to feature worthwhile musicians, which it definitely does.
Nic Harcourt hosts and he has a similar gift as my main man Charlie Rose - he asks good questions, which allow the listener to learn about the musician in a very personal way. Harcourt likes to learn about the creation and process of music, something that fascinates yours truly as well. So, if you didn't visit before based on my KoC post, you should reconsider and go now.
I am also going to tip my hat to oft c101 contributor Durty Dale - he recently made two great musical suggestions - and y'all get the spoils. Here is Of Montreal with "Wraith Pinned to the Mist" and Ahmad with "Back in the Day."
Back In The Day

where the feck have you been? i ain't seen you in ages.
I think you need to ask yourself that question - you have been the one that has been MIA.
What about me? Don't I get top honors for being incominucado? I'll be phoning both of you. Anyone for the races at Arlington on Saturday? Train takes you right to the track. Let's talk.
[3] sorry g. this weekend is the intonation festival. i have rawk on my agenda.
you should come - loads of hip hop this year.
[2] hermeticism treats me well.
is the pool still open?
Linwood, I regret to inform you that it's Intonation for yours truly as well. Dead Prez & Ghostface - hell yeah. Don't even care 'bout Bloc Interpol Monkey.
As for you Mr. P, well, you said it. If you don't leave your home, it's kind of difficult to engage. Maybe I will see you Sat. Maybe.
Why do you two have to be so mean to each other? Don't you remember when we were all just friends and froliced innocently through fields of joyous daisys? Why can't it be like that again; with no harsh words or sour feelings? Why?
Boy oh boy Thunder, I really think your shorty has made you soft. By and by, where's my mix bitch?
[7] I'll tell you what happened. days of sitting on the porch & drinking ourselves stupid have been replaced with sitting in cubes & staring at computers waiting for the next post by C$...that is what happened.
By the way, I'd like the thank the Italians for holding up their end of the bargain. I wont say the US result incase some are taping it & dont want to know the ending
My shorty may have made me soft, but don't worry, because your mom made me hard last night. Regarding the mix, I addressed this subject recenly at cave company. I don't like repeating myself, so please refer to the aforementioned sight. Stick it up your butt.
Also, before you go all Glenda Grammer on me, I will admit my error and correct myself. Don't get used to it. I meant "site" not "sight".
[10] addressed, but not explained. thank you, mr obvious. we all know your tardy.
i am glad, however, that there was a mom joke. my world is turning right-side-up again.
If you would pull your head out of your ass, Dale, and read the whole paragraph, you would see that I chose to make no excuses. I neither explain my actions nor hold myself accountable to anyone. I am glad, however, that I turned your mom right-side-up last night, right after I finished with her upside-down.
[13] I read said paragraph. If I recall correctly, you were throwing yourself to the mercy of the group. I believe that means a good ribbing from the group. Kind of like the good ribbing I gave your mom.
Touche!
Boy oh boy, it really warms the cockles of my heart to see my bloggy used as a bastion for bile and the collective your mom love. Ah, I really have made it.
C$, maybe another job for you.
