Tsu Shi Ma Mi Re + Suicide Girls = Happy c101

Took in this show on October 22 and it was lovely. Tsu Shi Ma Mi Re is a three-girl (I stress girl) outfit from Japan that know how to rock it. They are so happy and they aren't afraid to tell the audience...a lot. "We are soooooooooooo Happyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy." And the gratuitous Japanese lesson, Konnichi Wa means Hello!!!!! Nonetheless, it was easy to tell these girls love their power chords and their Rock n' Roll and ain't that what it all be about? I think so.

As for the Suicide Girls well, where do I begin? It is always nice to see tattooed ladies strip down to their pasties and thongs and dance around to loud music. One of them even chucked roses into the crowd during her number and I caught one. I guess she knew I was appreciating her work.

And while the ladies were most definitely attractive I was just as surprised by their musical choices to get naked by. Everything from Death From Above 1979 to Portishead to Steeler's Wheel (Yep, they did the ear-cutting scene from Reservoir Dogs - A+).

Since we are talking about Death From Above 1979, let's listen to "Romantic Rights" and Four Tet "Everything Is All Right" because... it is.

I too attended Friday night's Suicide Girl show with this site's owner, and while I'll agree with him on the refreshing, honest performance of Tsu Shi Ma Mi Rae, I may have to disagree slightly with his rather generous critique of the Suicide Girls. Don't get me wrong, these were real breasts, great breasts which fashionably wore whip cream and Vote For Pedro shirts alike, only to go bare and mesmerize. But where were the props? I expected, from the word "Burlesque" to see city scapes and menacing smoke machines, or maybe some orgy-like humping with spanking and biting and what not, but all we got was adolescent dancing, and you couldn't see lower halfs. A couple of the girls tickled my fancy, I suppose, with their abilities to stand on one leg while holding the other one high up, pressed to their head. But c'mon, for $13.50, they should have flossed each others' teeth with my freshly plucked pubes, root skin-chunk and all.

new look c101. nice. i'm bored, entertain me
even spam control. a little out of your league, dontchathink

Spam control is right! Time to weed out the riff raff.

First, I just watched "Vision Quest" last night, so Louden you chose a great name - or it chose you? Thanks oh so much for that lovely installment, you sick bastard. OpAmp, glad you appreciated the pic. Dale, I don't know what the hell you are talking about. And yes, spam is needed RFO and I very much like the upgrade. Thanks for extending my page, both literally and figurtively.
